The first 9-holes opened in 1973. A second nine opened in 1976. Several important upgrades and renovations have taken place during the last ten years. Golf course drainage was completely overhauled in 2006 and 2007. Bunkers were reshaped, eliminated, downsized and had drainage added, too. The driving range landing area was smoothed and had drainage improvements completed in 2015. The Center, which is the hub for golf, cross-country skiing and the Bistro Nouveau restaurant, was completely renovated for the 2016 season.
Mark Larrabee, our PGA head golf professional, directs the golf staff. Mark is beginning his 12th year at Eastman. Bistro Nouveau is in their 11th year of operation at Eastman. Billy Mitchell, is our golf course superintendent, he is starting his 16th year at Eastman.
We utilize a full driving range, complete restaurant and function operations, and a golf shop full of fresh inventory. You can also try golf equipment at the driving range and on the golf course. You must give our new FlightScope launch monitor a try, too. It is a game changer.
