The 2016 Golf Season at Eastman!
We are now a designated Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary golf facility!
Eastman Golf Links is not the hidden gem anymore. We are front and center to golfers from the Upper Valley, New England and across the country. The New England Golf Guide 2014 edition rates Eastman Golf Links as a 4-star golf course. There are only three such courses in New Hampshire. There is only one golf course in NH rated 4 1/2 stars and zero courses with a 5-star label. You will feel totally away from the crazy world when you are spending the day with us. You bring the spirit and we bring the simplicity. Oh, sweet course conditions, too.
Eastman Golf Links was designated a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary on December 15, 2015. That takes teamwork, time and commitment. There are only four such facilities in NH, and 893 in the world (there are 33,000+ golf courses on the planet). This is an amazing accomplishment. The process started in the summer of 2009. This certification speaks to the leadership of Michael Gornnert, Golf Course Superintendent at Eastman, and his team.
Arriving for the first time at Eastman Golf Links you are handed a free full-color course yardage guide and offered our free Eastman Golf App. You will likely be greeted by name. You will notice the sincere welcome from the PGA trained golf staff. You will know what it is like to experience a truly friendly golf operation. It is so simple - to have fun and relax at Eastman.
Eastman has been gracing the upper valley since 1973. The New Hampshire Men's State Amateur Championship was contested at Eastman in 2010. From highly skilled players to our Tuesday Ladies on the Links tutoring program you can play the tees that match up with your skill level. Feeling comfortable while you play matters to us.
New for 2016 will be a completely renovated clubhouse. It is scheduled to open by early June 2016. The golf shop will be relocated to the front of the building, with a view of the first tee. The restaurant, Bistro Nouveau, will have an enlarged horse-shoe bar, larger deck overlooking the 18th green and a larger function room.
The driving range floor has received a face-lift, too. The teeing ground remains in place. However, the landing areas have added drainage which should keep the range open on most days despite the weather. The entire floor of the range has been smoothed and will be seeded in the spring of 2016.
